Social Enterprise in Dartmouth Nova Scotia

Who they are: YACRO is a residential service provider for children and adults with disabilities. The agency started three Social Enterprise ventures due to the lack of supportive, inclusive employment available to people with disabilities.

All-Ways-Us opened its doors in 2009 with a small room, and a couple of employee’s working a few hours a week, making glycerin soaps, lip balm and candles, to the company it is today.

All-Ways-Us now employs 7-8 people making a variety of bath and candle products; and we’ve also grown to include wood crafts in our product line.

We have created many community connections by teaming up with other Nova Scotia business’s to make custom products to suit their merchandising needs, as well as our own.

Our goal is to grow and sustain this business model; allowing us to continue building a workplace that provides dignity, social inclusion and meaningful employment to people with disabilities.
